College essay and personal statement coaching

The essay is the one part of the application a student fully controls, and the part most likely to stall. We start with what actually happened to you, find the story inside it, and draft until it reads like you on your clearest day.

Questions

Common questions

How many drafts does an essay take?

As many as the deadline allows. Drafts and feedback move through your portal, each with a status you can see, so you always know whose turn it is.

Will the essay still sound like my student?

That's the whole point. Coaching means questions, structure, and honest feedback — the student does the writing, which is also the only version that holds up in an interview.

Can you help with just the essays?

Yes. Essay coaching sits inside the full admissions programs, but plenty of families come for the writing alone. Bring the draft to a free Bearing Check and we'll scope it.
